VISIONARY PRESIDENT (RY 2022/2023)
Dear Members of Rotaract Club of Rubaga,
We have come to the end of the Rotary term 2022-2023. When I started this year, having been a passive member for quite some time, I planned to use the Vice Presidency to learn more about Rotary, get to know club members and members outside Rotaract Rubaga. It has definitely been challenging to balance the unanticipated leadership role and other life calls, alot of rapid adjustments had to be made for example in my personal, family and work life.
Indeed it has been Allah the All-knower who has enabled me serve as Vice President, Acting President and President all in one single term.
I would like to credit AG Abraham Dalton Mpumwire, Past President James Mulindwa and Visionary President for the Rotaract Club of Bwebajja Ronald Mutebi for the extra ordinary support rendered towards the achievement of goals — my board members, Rotarians from mother Club, fellow club members and friends of Rotaract Rubaga for walking with me through the journey. Despite the challenges thrown to me, I'm proud to say I have served humanity.
It has always been Rotary's motto "Service Above Self" to serve our community and people in need, hopefully we have shown some new path in the life of the people we have served with, the communities where we had our projects and in the course we missioned. These differences should stay and keep improving in the coming year.
The end of a term is the beginning of another, let us all keep the good deed that we have been doing all this time. As Rotaractors, our work will never end until the world becomes a better place to live.
I had a wonderful year and I look forward to more wonderful and exciting years ahead. I wish the incoming leadership the best. Let's work together for the betterment of our club and our society.
